Starting on August 22, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will launch a series of Public Engagements aimed at guiding individuals interested in the "Keeping Families United" process. These sessions, available in both English and Spanish, are designed to help applicants understand how to complete and submit Form I-131F, which allows certain non-citizens, such as spouses and stepchildren of U.S. citizens, to request Temporary Residence Permission in the country.
The sessions are free and do not require registration, and will be held on the following dates:
English session: Thursday, August 22, from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Spanish session: Thursday, August 29, from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. (Eastern Time)
During these meetings, USCIS experts will demonstrate how to use the USCIS online account to submit Form I-131F and will answer frequently asked questions about the process. To facilitate interaction, participants can submit their questions in advance through the Teams Live link corresponding to the event.
